INVESTITURE CEREMONY-HIGHER SECONDARY
The first and most important special program of the academic year, the Investiture Ceremony, was held on 14th June 2024. The event commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by the School Pupil Leader (SPL), Vinoliya. The highlight of the ceremony was the formal investiture of the newly elected student leaders, which was carried out by Rev. Fr. Thomas Ilango, Chief Guest and Parish Priest of Fatima Church, Kodambakkam; Rev. Sr. Antonyraj Christina, our Correspondent; and Rev. Sr. Madalaimuthu Lidwin Mary, our Principal. In a solemn and dignified atmosphere, the leaders took their oath of office, pledging to uphold their duties with integrity and dedication. They were then presented with the symbols of office, marking the beginning of their leadership journey. In his inspiring message, Rev. Fr. Thomas Ilango emphasized the importance of leadership and urged the newly appointed leaders to seize every opportunity provided by the school and strive to prove themselves as capable and committed individuals. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Games Captain, Oliviya, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY-PRIMARY
On 15th June 2024 at 1:30 p.m., it was the turn of the primary school office bearers to take their oath of office, following the senior school investiture. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Rev. Fr. Ignatius Thomas, Correspondent of Maria Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Our Correspondent, Rev. Sr. Christina, and Principal, Rev. Sr. Lidwin Mary, also graced the occasion. After a brief prayer service, the Primary School Pupil Leader (SPL) welcomed the gathering. The newly elected primary leaders then took their solemn oath of office. In his presidential address, Rev. Fr. Ignatius Thomas spoke about the importance of action, initiative, and inspiration, encouraging the young leaders to embody these qualities and become role models for others. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Games Captain, marking the successful installation of the primary school leaders.
